School has me busy and stressed. Just got done teaching Iowa history to fourth graders... TX history was more interesting, we at least had the Alamo to talk about.
Haven't checked my DA messages, not that people are anxious for my ignorant opinons anyway!
Sprained my back in the weight room yesterday, too absent-minded while doing the hang-clean. I did survive work today, though. Thank goodness for cushy mats at the registers + Aleve.
Setting the clocks back tonight.
I'm sure I'll see families at church who got there an hour early and wondered what the heck was going on. It's also funny watching them come in an hour late when Daylight Savings time starts. 
Did you know, btw, that all white people are racist? I was told this by a very young, non-white child earlier this semester and almost passed out.
Thanks, parents, for brainwashing your children with this nonsense.
I am so unbelievably ready for Christmas--I think mainly because that means the semester will be OVER. One more semester of PDS and then student-teaching next fall.

What I've Done This Summer

I have...
-Lost 21 pounds (making that 31 lbs since I was married in January!)
-Been a full time caretaker of an elderly relative
-Worked weekends at Hobby Lobby
-Gotten to know my husband better
-Taught children at church on Sundays
-Read a few books
-Kept the house from falling apart
-Helped to plan and conduct church activities on Wednesday nights
-Experienced for my first time the loss of a close family member
-Exercised 4-6 days a week for around an hour
-Ate vegetables most days
-Had my first married birthday
-Completed an online science class
-Went to my first and last midnight premiere (Harry Potter!)
